Lovely park alight castle is mainly boarded up. Kids playground is good anything needs a bit of tlc

Our dogs and wee boy love it at balloch, there is a bit of everything there! Sand, sea, walkways and a play park! Perfect.

Sites on a cold, crisp and beautifully sunny day in January.
Good for a walk of any length. Love this side of Loch Lomond. Much more accessible than the eastern side

Lovely place with stunning views but the castle was closed (although Google said it was open) it seems temporarily or permanently closed to the public. No public toilets which is not ideal with two young ones!
Play park is also taped off as large sections are unsafe. A real shame as it’s such a beautiful spot.

It's big enough place to walk your dog but can be busy at times.

Lovely place for a walk. Smooth paths suitable for buggies, wheel chairs etc, although some routes can be steep. Great views.
